Teardown method and evidence grades
NuAxi does not disassemble devices. We reconcile board photos, markings and function labels from public teardowns line by line, and publish only checkable identifiers. This note applies to iPhone Duo, Tesla Model Y and every future teardown page.

What we do
Reconcile board photos, markings and function labels from public teardowns such as iFixit, REWA and MacRumors.
Turn checkable identifiers, modules and functional blocks into a structured dataset with explicit evidence grades.
Record a revision and date for every change; we do not invent part numbers to look complete.
Evidence grades
A = checkable in public teardown photos or markings.
B = cross-checked against platform or supply-chain material; there are no B-grade entries yet.
Candidates below A/B are not published, so a board marking or platform name is never presented as a purchasable MPN.
Source and citation policy
Public datasets on teardown pages contain no source URLs, evidence notes or internal check fields; this is product policy, not an omission.
Pages name the public teardown sources but do not link every item; for verification, use the original teardown from the named organisation.
If you find an error, use the “submit a lead” entry on the subscription page and attach a checkable board photo or marking.
Revisions and updates
Every teardown page carries revision and published_at fields; the current version is shown at the top.
The revision only moves when new evidence, a scope change or a correction appears; copy edits alone do not bump it.
Subscribers hear from us when the BOM materially changes.
FAQ
Why are there no part numbers?
Public teardowns usually label functions only; chips may sit under shields or carry internal laser codes. Only checkable identifiers are published.
Does grade A mean NuAxi did the teardown?
No. Grade A means the identifier is checkable in public teardown photos or markings; NuAxi does not disassemble devices.
Can we cite your data?
You may cite the page's conclusions with attribution to NuAxi and the page URL; do not describe modules marked pending as confirmed.
