Latour Capital to acquire French PCB maker Elvia Electronics

What happened

Reported on November 04, 2026: French investment firm Latour Capital has signed an agreement to acquire Elvia Electronics, France's largest maker of high-reliability PCBs, from a Tikehau-managed fund, with the acquisition made through Émergence Défense, Latour's fund dedicated to the defence industry. Elvia Electronics makes PCBs for defence, robotics, space, aerospace, energy, automotive and industrial applications, employs around 420 people across three production sites in Coutances (headquarters), Châteaubourg and Puiseaux, and has a technical centre in Meung-sur-Loire. Tikehau has owned Elvia since March 2022 through a private equity fund dedicated to aerospace and defence; during that time the company reportedly went through a major transformation and grew strongly. Latour Capital says demand for high-reliability electronics is being driven by industrial sovereignty, growing defence programmes including robotics and drones, and the relocation of critical supply chains; with new investment, Elvia will continue to focus on high-end, high-reliability electronics, accelerate its international expansion and keep its French industrial base. The transaction is a signed agreement; whether it has been completed is not stated in the source.
