Amphenol to acquire AdvancedPCB
What happened
Private equity firm Industrial Growth Partners (IGP) has agreed to sell AdvancedPCB, a US maker of high-reliability PCBs, to Amphenol. The deal is subject to regulatory approval in the US and customary closing conditions; the parties have not disclosed the purchase price and have not said when the deal is expected to close. AdvancedPCB is headquartered in Aurora, Colorado, has been operating since 1977, and serves customers in defence, aerospace and industry from six sites in the United States. IGP bought the company in October 2021, together with members of management and outside co-investors; since then AdvancedPCB has grown organically and through several acquisitions and has been brought together under a single brand. The source does not state the cause of the sale.
