Advanced Energy Launches 3200 W and 3600 W M-CRPS Power Supplies with Ultra-High Power Density
What happened
Advanced Energy Industries Inc (Nasdaq: AEIS) announced at the 2026 Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit three new M-CRPS power supplies capable of delivering up to 3600 W with power density of over 100 W/in³, and these power supplies are OCP-compliant. The new products comprise the 3600 W CSU3600AT-9-3M0, which addresses demand for higher-power 54 V architectures, and two 3200 W units: the CSU3200AT-3-6M0, which supports 12 V output architectures for AI and data center applications, and the CSU3200ADC-3-3M0, which delivers 3200 W at a 12 V output for DC-input LVDC-powered telecom and OCP +48 V busbar infrastructure. The AC-input PSUs are certified to 80 Plus Titanium standards, and the DC-input model delivers a peak efficiency of 94%; the products use a compact 185 mm form factor and incorporate advanced cybersecurity and firmware security features. The CSU M-CRPS Series supplies are designed for data centers, AI, and enterprise compute, as well as storage, networking, and telecom workloads requiring high-density power architectures, giving system architects a scalable upgrade path based on the same chassis and mechanical design across multiple power levels.
