NVIDIA Allegedly Stops Accepting RTX 5090 Orders

What happened

Although NVIDIA has officially denied the discontinuation of the GeForce RTX 5090, according to a recent report by Der8auer on YouTube, NVIDIA board partners are reporting that NVIDIA has officially stopped accepting orders for the 5090, and it appears it is not just a temporary freeze on GB202 supply as in the past, since pre-orders are also not available to buyers. An unnamed AIB partner via Der8auer on YouTube stated: NVIDIA did not inform them that the RTX 5090 is EOL, but currently they cannot purchase GB202 together with 32 GB GDDR7 as a complete set, and they do not know if ordering will be possible again in the future; similar supplier shortages have happened several times before, and while NVIDIA always allowed backorders in the past, this is currently no longer possible. The source does not state the cause.
