Ventec opens first Southeast Asian plant in Thailand
What happened
Ventec International Group officially opened its first Southeast Asian manufacturing facility in Thailand, producing prepreg, bond-ply and laminates for high-reliability PCBs. The company expects the facility to produce around 3 million square metres of prepreg and 80,000 square metres of bond-ply per month at full capacity, with production ramping up gradually through 2028. The investments are meant to make its supply chain more resilient and meet growing demand from AI, high-performance computing and advanced electronic materials, presented as part of a "China plus one" strategy.
