Qualcomm Showcases V2X Technology at 2026 Gangneung ITS World Congress

What happened

Qualcomm announced on Oct. 19 that it will showcase traffic safety technologies and solutions based on vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications at the 2026 ITS World Congress in Gangneung, South Korea, held from Oct. 19 to 23 at Gangneung Olympic Park in Gangwon Province. The congress focuses on intelligent transportation system policies, technologies and services, covering connected vehicles, autonomous driving, smart infrastructure and AI. Qualcomm will demonstrate seven technologies during the event and exhibit real-world applications, including scalable V2X, ADAS-based V2X, smart infrastructure, global V2X solutions and products developed by partners using Qualcomm technologies. Qualcomm Korea President Kim Sang-pyo delivered a keynote speech titled 'Accelerating Innovation in Traffic Safety'.
