Industry, Academia Join Forces to Build Power Semiconductor Ecosystem
What happened
On Oct. 7, the Korea Power Semiconductor Industry Association signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Institute of Energy Technology (KENTECH), Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL), the Power Semiconductor Shared University, and Busan Techno Park to build an industrial ecosystem and promote technology cooperation in power semiconductors and next-generation grids. The agreement will remain in effect for one year from the signing date and may be extended for one year at a time upon mutual agreement.
