Astute signs Samwha Capacitor

What happened

Astute Group has signed a franchise distribution agreement with Samwha Capacitor Group, adding Samwha's range of capacitors, energy storage components, ferrite products, inductors and transformer technologies to Astute's portfolio and giving Astute customers an authorised route to Samwha components across electronic, industrial, automotive and energy applications. Samwha Capacitor Group comprises five affiliated companies, with 11 factories and 17 sales offices across its global network. The portfolio includes multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC, covering standard, soft termination, open mode and floating mode products), disc ceramic capacitors (temperature-compensating, high-voltage, AC-voltage and ultra-high-voltage types), varistors, power capacitors and capacitor banks, DC-Link capacitors and snubber capacitors, electric double layer capacitors (EDLC, supporting energy storage and backup applications), conductive polymer hybrid capacitors (low ESR and high ripple-current capability), and aluminum electrolytic capacitors; the specified low-voltage power capacitor range covers capacitance from 0.2 to 50kvar and rated voltages from 220 to 1,000 V. Astute customers can also access Samwha's transformer and inductor products and EMI components through the group portfolio. Astute will make introductions to Samwha at electronica, hall C5:421.
